Where are all of your sessions held?
I specialize in natural light, on location photography, so all of my sessions are on location in Northwest Louisiana. For newborn to 1 year I come to the parents home (or a friend, or family member's house if that works better for the parents) and bring all of my props, backdrops, floors etc. For seniors I have a talk with the senior and get a feel of what sort of style she/he wants; whether it be country, urban, or both, and I decide on different locations to work with.

So you supply the props and outfits?
For newborns I supply the props, backdrops, and floors along with precious pettirompers, pettiskirts, hats, headbands and more. For seniors I bring some fabulous accessories with me to every shoot. I work with my seniors and help them find the PERFECT outfits for their senior portraits that is both totally them and works for the specific style that they are going for. I LOVE it when a Senior brings their whole closet to a session for us to put outfits together from.

Do you travel?

Should I have my makeup and hair done professionally?
I highly recommend that you have your hair and makeup done professionally. The products and techniques that professionals use insure that your makeup and hair will last throughout your shoot, which is especially great during the hot Louisiana summer! And who doesn't like to get a little pampered every now and then?? I know I do! Can you help me decide what outfits to wear for my session?
Yes, I would love to! I encourage my clients to send me pictures of their clothing, and bring as many pieces as they can fit into their vehicle, so we can go through them together and pick out the PERFECT outfits!
